Dinner on the Farm a Delicious Success!
Many thanks to everyone who celebrated our spring Dinner on the Farm at La Conner Flats on Saturday, April 19th.Our guests and volunteers braved the Tulip Festival traffic to make their way to our host farm, La Conner Flats. Once there, everyone was enchanted with the delectable hors d’oeuvres and the five-course meal with wine pairings, expertly prepared by Guest Executive Chef Robert Atterberry of Avenue Catering. The meal, which always features locally grown products from the Skagit Valley, was complimented by exquisite wine pairings thoughtfully selected by Jeff Hellam of Hellam’s Vineyards in La Conner.SPF wishes to thank the many volunteers, growers, producers, sponsors, in-kind donors and our gracious hosts, the Hart Family, for helping to make our “Celebrate Skagit ~ Dinner on the Farm” such a memorable experience, and for proving why Skagit farmland is so awesome!!And if you missed our Spring Dinner on the Farm, mark your calendar for our Summer Dinner on the Farm: Saturday, July 26th at Gordon Skagit Farms.
