This pre-1909 implement has been fully restored and can be the historic centerpiece on your property. This plow is the real deal. Add one strong-shouldered person and a horse, and you’re good to go! This plow was made by the Morrison Manufacturing Company, founded in 1862 in Fort Madison, Iowa, one of the most notable farm implement manufacturers in the United States.
This treasure was lovingly restored by an avid collector in Ferndale.

"Birds on a Wire" by Steve Harrold
This painting, by local northwest artist Steve Harrold is a 24”x24” mixed media acrylic and wire on unframed wood. The whimsical piece features 5 barn swallows sitting and chatting on a physical wire. The background shows distant swallows flying over the landscape of the Skagit Valley.
Steve Harrold grew up in the mid west and studied visual arts in New York City. Now living on Fir Island, Steve has developed his work into a sculptures of fields, gardens, and pastures with tractors. His works seek to look for glimpses of wonder and simplicity in nature’s colors and design.
These sweet birds sitting on a wire remind us that there is wonder in even the smallest quiet moments.
